Light and colour

If you get the chance to catch the Amococo luminarium on tour, don’t miss it!

A huge yet delicate sculpture created and assembled by hand by the Architects of Air, here in Nottingham.

Since 1992, their lumineria have visited 25 countries and attracted over 1m visitors and it’s easy to see why.

The winding passages and small dome shapes are filled with ever changing, vivid colours – created purely from the natural daylight shining through the plastic.

You can wander around and feel completely immersed in this strange but beautiful cocoon.
