Only in London

For a limited period only, Chanel will move out of its exquisite Sloane Street abode and take up residence at Dover Street Market. The ephemeral boutique on five of the six floors will be showcasing an edited selection of Ready to Wear, accessories, and shoes until 26th June.
Dover Street is renowned for its avant-garde style while Chanel is the epitome of French haute couture. Only in London does this mix of unconventional and chic make perfect sense. The British, particularly Londoners, are famed the world over for their eclectic and individual sense of style, mixing thrift, couture and high street in a unique way. The offbeat store will stock exclusive, limited-edition pieces from the Paris-Londres Métiers d’Arts Collection - with not a classic tweed jacket in sight.
Unfortunately the price tag doesn’t reflect their temporary home – so for some it may be for inspiration and interest only. But for those that have been saving for the 2.55 bag of their dreams, why not buy it now and buy into a piece of fashion history.
