Freelance ASP.NET developer
We’re looking for a skilled freelance ASP.NET developer to support our programming team during busy periods. With proven and sound experience, preferably in an agency environment, you will play a key role in the delivery of web-based content, working closely with our digital team.
With experience of developing content management systems and eCommerce solutions either from scratch or using open source systems, you will have excellent ASP.NET (C#) skills. Knowledge of JavaScript/AJAX would also be advantageous. You will have a good working knowledge of XHTML and CSS standards and be committed to usability and accessibility.
Supporting our developers in the design and implementation of web and other digital content you must be confident in the whole web development lifecycle from requirements gathering and specification through to testing, deployment and maintenance. A commitment to quality, tempered by pragmatism is essential as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. You should be prepared to contribute to proposal and specification documents. Experience of managing *nix and Windows servers, web servers and database systems would also be advantageous.
